Peer Review Process
Type of Peer Review
Agrogenesis journal employs a double-blind review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity.
Evaluation Criteria
Submitted articles will be evaluated based on:
- Relevance of the topic to the journal's focus and scope.
- Originality and contribution to scientific knowledge.
- Quality of research methodology.
- Clarity of data presentation and arguments.
- Accuracy of citations and references.
Code of Ethics
All parties involved in the review process (authors, reviewers, editors) must adhere to the code of conduct for scientific publications, as stipulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Reviewer Eligibility
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field to ensure that evaluations are conducted by competent experts.
Article Submission
Authors submit articles through the online system of Agrogenesis journal. Submitted articles will be examined by the editor to ensure initial compliance with the journal's scope and format.
Initial Screening by Editor
The editor-in-chief conducts an initial screening of the article to assess completeness and compliance with the author guidelines. Articles that meet the initial requirements will proceed to the peer review process.
Reviewers Assignment
Articles that pass the initial screening are sent to two reviewers whose expertise matches the research topic. Reviewers are given 2-4 weeks to complete the evaluation.
Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers provide assessments based on the established criteria. Feedback can be in the form of:
- Accepted without revisions.
- Accepted with minor revisions.
- Accepted with major revisions.
- Rejected. Reviewers also provide detailed suggestions and comments to help authors improve their articles.
Editor Decision
Based on the reviewers' reports, the editor makes the final decision regarding the status of the article. If revisions are required, authors are given a specific time to revise their articles and resubmit them through the system.
Revision and Finalization
Revised articles will be reviewed again by the editor, and if necessary, may be resubmitted to the reviewers for further evaluation. Once the article is approved for publication, the editor will ensure that the final format conforms to the journal's standards.
Publication
Accepted articles will be published online and can be accessed through the official Agrogenesis journal website.
