The AGROGENESIS Journal of Sustainable Agriculture and Innovation is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes manuscripts in the fields of sustainable agriculture, agricultural innovations, agronomy, soil science, plant protection, and related areas. Articles must present research conducted within the last five years. Submissions should not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere, except in preliminary form.
GUIDELINES PRINCIPLES
Accepted manuscripts must meet the following criteria:
- Make a significant contribution to sustainable agriculture and innovation.
- Clearly and thoroughly explain the methodology.
- Support the results and discussion with sufficient and relevant data.
- Manuscripts should be concise, well-written, and easy to understand.
- Conclusions should summarize the findings and offer specific insights.
MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
Manuscripts should be submitted via the AGROGENESIS online submission system in the journal's standard format. Manuscripts should be typed on A4-sized paper, single column, 1.5 line spacing, Arial font size 10, with continuous line numbering. Margins should be set at 2 cm on all sides.
MANUSCRIPT TITLE
The title should accurately reflect the content of the manuscript, be concise, informative, and ideally not exceed 20 words. Avoid abbreviations and formulas. A shorter title, no more than five words or phrases, should also be provided.
AUTHORS
The manuscript must list the full names of all authors, without abbreviations, and their affiliations, including institutional addresses and email addresses. International authors or authors from different countries or institutions should be included to encourage national and global knowledge exchange.
ABSTRACT
The abstract, appearing on the first page after the title and authors' names, should be standalone and integrated, consisting of the introduction and purpose, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations. It should not exceed 200 words and avoid references and uncommon abbreviations.
KEYWORDS
Keywords should avoid general terms and double concepts, and not repeat words from the title. Keywords will be used for indexing purposes and should consist of no more than five words or phrases in alphabetical order.
INTRODUCTION
The introduction should state the research purpose and provide sufficient background. Avoid extensive literature reviews and summarize the research objectives and approach.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
This section must include the research location and period. Materials, methods, experimental design, and analytical techniques should be clearly and concisely explained. The International System of Units (SI) should be used, and symbols should be written out in full if not accompanied by numbers. For value ranges, include the unit at the end (e.g., 1-10 t/ha). Avoid starting sentences with symbols.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Results should align with the research objectives, and the discussion should integrate findings with existing literature or contextualize them within the scope of the research.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Conclusions should summarize the main findings and their implications. Recommendations, if any, may be included under a separate subheading.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Acknowledgments should mention funding sources and contributors who supported the research.
REFERENCES
Manuscripts must include at least 20 references, with at least 80% from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last 10 years. Unpublished data and personal communications should not be cited. References for accepted manuscripts that have not yet been published should indicate the expected publication date. References should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style and be managed using tools like Mendeley. References should be listed alphabetically.
